Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance Retraining Therapy is an exercise-based approach to decrease/eliminate symptoms of dizziness, imbalance, and nausea. With half of all falls in the elderly occurring due to vestibular dysfunction, vestibular rehabilitation can be an important component in prevention of trauma associated with falls. Dizziness and balance dysfunctions can significantly affect our daily function and safety.

Our philosophy to vestibular rehabilitation takes a personal and direct approach to appropriate diagnosis and treatment of specific deficits that may be contributing to dizziness/balance instability. Thorough assessment and close communication with doctors allow for quality and effective patient care. Vestibular rehabilitation and balance retraining therapy can be an integral part in restoration of normal functional mobility in people with dizziness/balance deficits.
